Our Second Grade Holiday Play

Putting on a holiday play is a second grade tradition at Chets Creek.  The boys and girls begin learning the words to the songs in the early fall.  Then they add dance moves. We read the script and divide up the lines.  By the time we add props and costumes December is upon us.  Here is a peek at this year's production of Once On A Housetop.

It's December in Our Town!

Yes, it's that time of the year when we learn about all of the holidays people celebrate in December.  What a better way to learn than by singing and dancing?  Here's a glimpse of our second grade play, performed on December 10th.

Last week we performed Once on a Housetop for our parents and the children in our school. We've been singing and dancing to prepare for this special show. The boys and girls learned their lines and acted out the scenes. It was fun and entertaining!
